At the age of 20 Earl was sentenced to prison and released at the age of 26. It was Earl’s faith in Christ Jesus, service within Christ’s Kingdom that blessed Earl to live a life of restoration and redemption. Through Christ, inspiration from his wife, Onika Miller, interwoven with lived experiences, academia accomplishments and work experiences, the will of the Lord for Breaking Chains Ministries that was formed before the foundations of the world was cultivated and birthed.

Earl and Onika Miller, born and raised in Mpls MN, have been married for 16 plus years, gifted by God to be parents and grandparents who are known to be given to public service in multiple capacities. When they are not serving others, they balance their lives through laughter, spending quality time with one another and keeping the fire of love that drew them to become one, aflamed.

Earl
Self:
Earl Miller, A husband, father, grandfather, son and sibling to three brothers. Loves football and working out. He transfers the principles of athletics and exercising into his service within his family, and community, knowing that the legacy of an individual reaches far beyond one’s biological DNA. Earl believes that when one’s time is up in this earthly realm, the spirit of that individual should still inspire those alive to excel in obtaining their goals and dreams.
Ministry – “The Gift of the Holy Ghost”:
Answering the call in a 6×9 cell at the age of 23, Earl could not deny laying hands on the lame and receiving the report that his back had been healed. It was not long after that, Earl began preaching and teaching the gospel behind the prison walls to the captive while witnessing the captive being liberated by the power of God’s word. Jesus continued to show Earl signs and wonders of His power and love by filling him with the gift the holy ghost and speaking in tongues as the Spirit of the Lord gave the utterance.
Earl’s service continued within the inner city, suburbs and rural areas as the Lord ordered His footsteps, inclusive to his service as the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Dakotas District Council (MWDDC) Men’s Auxiliary Secretary and was later elevated to serve as the Vice Chair for several years. This service was provided within Earl’s local assembly as well, with the honor of operating as Chair of the Men’s department for several years
Education:
As an unlearned man, and servant of the Most High God, Earl enhanced his ministry by furthering his education which opened up doors and placed him before witnesses of the saving and keeping power of God who were seated in high places. Earl’s education consist of Masters of Arts – Forensic Behavioral Health, Concordia University, St. Paul, MN; Bachelor of Arts – Christian Ministries, Bethel University; Associate of Biblical Studies – Vision International University, Romana, CA; Washburn Millers, Mpls., MN; Licensed Elder – Aenon Bible College, Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.
Public Service:
Words of Wisdom to our youth at various H.S., colleges and abroad as key note speaker for community events, professional providers in the non-profit sector and cross state systems. As becoming the embodiment of, “I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink” ~ St. Matt. 25:35; Earl has served at homeless shelters striving to add light and hope into the lives of others.

Onika
Family
As a wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother (Mima), Onika treasures spending quality time with her family and friends, often enjoying moments of laughter, singing, and dancing. She is equally committed to working alongside her husband, Pastor Earl Miller, in serving, mentoring, and caring for God’s people. Together, they share a deep joy in fulfilling their calling and impacting lives through love and faith.
Ministry:
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Onika is a passionate and devoted member of God’s kingdom. Having been saved, sanctified (set apart), and filled with the Holy Ghost for 28 years, she has served in numerous capacities to advance the message of Jesus Christ and help build His Kingdom. Her services include, being a spiritual midwife helping those seeking to be filled with the Spirit, give birth. Leading and singing within the choir for multiple years and coordinating winter musicals, while transferring her talents, interwoven with her spiritual gifts to create, build and coordinate church events throughout the year. Onika is also known for writing, directing and producing gospel productions through arts and theater, understanding that learning can be visual as well as verbal, and still has the impact to draw souls unto salvation. Although she has served in many capacities to help advance the Kingdom of God, the light within her has drawn teenage females who glean wisdom and support from her, while many adult women found comfort, wisdom, guidance, and prayers from her ministry. These selfless acts of Christ, helped many to assist them in navigating life’s challenging times in multiple capacities.
Education:
Onika Miller is an experienced educator with 26 years of dedication to helping students succeed. She began her career as a paraprofessional and steadily advanced, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education with a license in Emotional Behavior Disorders (EBD) and Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD). Onika furthered her expertise by completing a Master’s in Differentiated Instruction and is currently pursuing an Education Specialist (EdS) degree for Principal Licensure.
