Isaiah 58:6-7

“Set free those who are held by chains without reason. Untie the ropes that hold people as slaves. Set free those who are crushed. Break all chains that are evil. Share our food with hungry people. Provide homeless people with a place to stay. Give naked people clothes to wear. Provide for families. Be a light to those in darkness.

SHOW LOVE- Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things..”1Corinthians13:4-7

FIND JOY IN THE CHAOS-Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD”.Psalm 27:6

SEEK PEACE-“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”Colossians 3:15

BE PATIENT-“And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing..”James1:4

BE KIND-Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” –Colossians 3:12

LIVE FAITHFULLY-Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”Deuteronomy 7:9

BE GENTLE-But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”1 Peter 3:15

Be Helpful- “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause,” (Isaiah 1:17). “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?Micah6:8

What We Do

We provide meals to people who are hungry, clothes and blankets to those in need, and drinks to those who are thirsty. During our outreach days we pray for people, share our knowledge about GOD, invite people to church and listen when someone needs a friend. We don’t judge anyone’s situation or circumstances but instead try to be that neighbor to them that is there to help in any and all needs. We would like to do much more so we have dedicated ourselves to this calling.

Word for Today

After the start of the Pandemic we became unemployed and as a result we have been able to shift our focus back to GOD and away from the worldly stresses and issues that became a normal part of our lives. As we turned our attention back where it belongs we have been able to be more aware of what is missing in the lives of a lot of people. We began to see how some are forgotten or left behind due to the demands placed by society. Instead of thinking about what we needed, we began to see what others needed more. We believe that no matter what the circumstances or situations are that everyone can use a helping hand at times. So we decided to do what we can with what we have and it has sparked a fire in us to do more that we are capable. We know that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
